Protective Overlay Pants with Bib Ally Protect (AP-7236), XL

If you or your workers perform welding work, you will inevitably face the need for protection. Whether personal protection or safety requirements at the workplace. Depending on the duration of welding operations, various personal protective equipment, suits, overalls, pants, jackets, or simply aprons or protective overlays can be used. These items must be fire-resistant and durable.

When it comes to overlay protective pants, it means that they can be used for a short period, worn over work clothes, or for a longer time as an additional protective layer over a complete set of protective clothing.

For example, overlay pants with bib AP-7236, XL. The manufacturing material is cowhide split leather, which fully complies with the safety requirements for workers performing welding. The split leather withstands high temperatures, is resistant to cuts and splashes of molten metal. All seams in the product are sewn with fire-resistant thread (Kevlar®).

Wearing method: over the head like an apron. Straps are adjusted on the back according to the height and shape of the person. The pants are fixed in several places:

• at the waist – with a strap and plastic carabiner
• on the legs – with elastic bands and an electrically insulating button
• along the leg, three fixation points – thigh, knee, and shin

Pants protection class 2/A1 according to EN ISO 11611: 2007.

• waist circumference: 101 cm
• inseam length: 76 cm
• outseam length: 107 cm

Note that overlay pants are worn over work clothes, so an allowance in volume from the waist size of regular clothes is needed.

To check if the pants are correctly fitted, use the key points. Overlay pants should cover the chest, abdomen, and most of the leg, except the back of the thighs and shins.
