Plasma cutters are equipment designed to cut metal parts using a plasma arc in an air stream. During the operation of the device, a stream of very hot plasma is formed, which instantly melts the metal and blows it out of the cutting area. This allows you to get a smooth cut line and use the plasma cutter for precise metal cutting work. The plasma itself is formed from atmospheric air or special gases such as oxygen, argon, or nitrogen. The capabilities of each individual plasma cutter depend on the maximum power consumption.
