Optrel Vegaview 2.5 welding mask

One of the options for premium segment welder's masks is the Optrel Vegaview 2.5 mask (Switzerland). This is a chameleon mask with an automatic darkening light filter. This mask has optimal parameters for daily use, such as a comfortable headband and a small (only 480 g) weight. A distinctive feature of this particular mask is excellent visibility in the light state. The darkening level in the light state is only DIN 2.5, that is, the light transmission is 25% compared to 5% in masks with a light state of DIN 4. The picture is clear, and the colors are realistic. The angle of activation of the sensors is also additionally adjustable, you can choose 60 ° or 80 °. So, when several people are working close to each other, flashes of light will not cause the neighbor's mask to activate.

The Optrel Vegaview 2.5 cartridge has dual power supply: a solar battery powered by the light of the welding arc, and two replaceable batteries (CR2032), which operate at times when the arc is already/is not yet lit or its light is not enough to power the light filter.

The control of the light filter sensitivity, the degree of darkening and the cutting/grinding mode are located outside the helmet. The opening delay setting is located on the light filter cartridge. Inside there is a comfortable headband. It is also worth noting that the Optrel Vegaview 2.5 is designed to work in extreme conditions (operating temperature range from -10 ° C to +70 ° C).
