Optrel E684 Silver Welder's Mask

One of the options for premium segment welder masks is the Optrel E684 mask (Switzerland). This is a chameleon mask with an automatic darkening light filter. This mask has optimal parameters for daily use, such as a comfortable headband and low (only 500 grams) weight.

However, this is not the only advantage of the Optrel mask, since the entire mask is a comprehensive solution for vision protection. Therefore, let's consider the main technologies responsible for the work:

• ShadeTronic® - you do not need to independently adjust the sensitivity of the mask and the degree of its darkening. The intelligent system fully automatically monitors the level of light load thanks to the design of 3 sensitive sensors and sets the required level of protection. If desired, the automation can be turned off and the darkening and sensitivity of the mask can be manually controlled. A solar battery and two batteries (CR2032) are installed to power such a system.
• FadeTronic® - no flickering due to residual backlight. Patented technology that slowly illuminates the light filter after welding is complete. Minimum strain on the eyes, even when working with high amperage currents.
• True Color – realistic color display during operation.

Control of the light filter sensitivity, degree of darkening and cutting/grinding mode is located outside the helmet. Opening delay adjustment is located on the light filter cartridge. Inside there is a comfortable headband. It is also worth noting that the Optrel E684 is designed to work in extreme conditions (operating temperature range from -10°C to + 70°C).
