The Tecmen 900 950D-G welding mask combines the convenience of adjustments and wide possibilities. In the "SMART" mode, the light filter will automatically adjust the darkening level (from DIN9 to DIN15) in real time depending on the current strength during the welding process. To manually adjust the protection level according to your preferences (in addition to automatic adjustment), use the buttons: "-" or "+".

The "MIX" mode is usually used for tack welding and welding at high currents. The principle of its operation is to use an intermediate level of darkening between the selected (working level of darkening) and completely turned off (DIN2.5), that is, when the arc fades, the light filter is first illuminated to an intermediate level, and then, with a delay in lighting - to a completely turned off state (DIN2.5).

" DARK" mode in which the mask works as usual, where the light filter has a constant level of darkening. To activate this mode, you need to press the HIGH sensitivity adjustment button on the cartridge and set the value to 6. After that, use the " -" or " +" buttons to set the desired darkening level from 9 to 15.

The light filter operation settings are located on the cartridge and consist of a switch for operating modes and regulators of the degree of darkening, light sensitivity, and opening delay.

A distinctive feature of the 900 950D-G mask is the ability to protect the welder's eyes from too bright a welding arc when working at high currents. To do this, you need to set the darkening level to 14/15 on the digital screen with backlight.
