The welder, controlling the torch, takes on all the harmful effects of laser welding. In addition, there is a hidden threat - the reflected beam. It also affects the eyes and can cause thermal burns. Therefore, when performing laser welding or cutting, safety rules should be followed and PPE designed specifically for this type of work should be used.

The light filter settings are located on the panel of the light filter itself. The “MODE” switch is used to select the required operating mode, and the controls allow you to adjust the light sensitivity, opening delay and degree of darkening. Also on the panel are indicators of low battery charge and checking the performance of the light filter.

2 sensors are responsible for starting the light filter. The mask is powered by a dual power supply - the main solar battery plus a replaceable lithium CR2450.
