Welding mask Artotic SUN 20B Steel Power

The Artotic SUN 20B Steel Power welding mask is a "chameleon" type mask, that is, during operation, the eyes are protected not just by tinted glass, but by an automatic dimming filter (ADF). Such a filter is a complex optoelectronic device with a large number of settings for operating parameters. Depending on the type of welding and the personal preferences of the welder, the sensitivity and level of dimming of the filter can be adjusted. The sensitivity and degree of dimming of the filter are controlled on the outer surface of the mask. Four independent sensors installed on both sides of the viewing window are responsible for detecting the start of welding. The main power supply of the mask filter is a solar battery, and an additional replaceable battery (Li-Mn battery) is also installed. The case is made of lightweight durable plastic, with a special streamlined shape. The design of the filter provides accurate color reproduction, as well as a good view of the indicators of the welding machine and the welding zone itself. Regardless of the type of welding the mask is used for, you can easily adjust the level of darkening to your needs. Additionally, the ability to lift the light filter is organized, while leaving the outer protective glass in place, so that the mask can be used during assembly or cutting without removing it.

The key feature of the SUN 20B mask is the PAPR air purification system, which protects the welder's lungs during work. During work, welding aerosols, as well as small dust particles, settle on the filters, and the purified air is supplied inside the welding mask. The filter system includes an anti-aerosol (HEPA) filter, a carbon filter, and a coarse mesh filter. To fit more tightly to the head and provide additional insulation of the human respiratory system during welding, the mask is equipped with a non-removable soft helmet liner made of fire-resistant material.
