Universal welding rectifier VDU25-401

Welding rectifiers VDU25-302, VDU25-401, VDU25-506 and VDU25-630 are intended for:

• For automatic and mechanized welding in an environment of protective gases and gas mixtures;
• For automatic and mechanized welding under a layer of flux;
• For completing manual arc welding, cutting, surfacing with artificial electrodes on direct current;

The rectifiers have a controlled six-phase rectification circuit with a smoothing reactor, thanks to which the sources have a low ripple coefficient of the welding current and high accuracy of stabilization of the set voltage, together with a powerful smoothing choke, they provide excellent dynamic characteristics - therefore, rectifiers VDU25-302, VDU25 506 and VDU25-630 can be used for welding hermetic and other critical seams. The ability to change the angle of inclination of the current-voltage characteristics, together with the generally accepted regulation of the welding voltage, allows you to obtain optimal welding and surfacing modes, which is especially important for welding and surfacing with electrode wire under a layer of flux and with flux-cored wire in gas mixtures.

Rectifiers VDU 25-506 and VDU 25-630 can be manufactured to ensure the welding process of manual and mechanized welding at an object located at a considerable distance from the source. These sources have the necessary power reserve to compensate for losses in welding cables and provide the static and dynamic characteristics necessary for high-quality welding at a considerable distance from the object being welded.

An example of the application of such sources can be underwater welding, both manual and mechanized. In this case, the sources are manufactured in a marine version with increased moisture protection.
