Ballast Rheostat RBP-401

The Ballast Rheostat RBP-401 type is designed for current control in manual welding and surfacing of metals with a fused electrode from multi-operator welding rectifiers and DC generators. The ballast resistor is to be connected in series with an electrode holder in the arc-welding circuit.

The Rheostat complies with the requirements of design documentation for operation at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level, ambient temperature from -45° to +40° C, and relative humidity of no more than 80% at 20° C and at lower temperatures without condensation.
