Welding reducer is an integral part of the system used for argon-arc or semi-automatic welding. The purpose of the reducer is to reduce the pressure after the cylinder with liquefied gas (gas mixture), as well as to ensure a constant volume of shielding gas in the path of the welding source.
GH-220 is a universal reducer with a heater, which is used for working with carbon dioxide (CO2). It can be installed on cylinders with a volume of 20 to 50 liters with a G 3/4 connection thread. To monitor key indicators, the reducer has a pressure gauge that is responsible for the gas pressure at the inlet, and a rotameter to control the gas flow rate. The heater is connected to a special socket on the welding source with parameters 220V/AC. The heater is used if the PV is more than 20% (switch-on cycle 5 minutes), the flow rate is more than 10 l/min. and temperature below +5° C. Heater power 90 W.
The reducer is installed on the gas cylinder valve, the fastening is sealed with a union nut. The gas hose is connected to the output pipe of the reducer and fixed with a clamp and union nut. The reducer body is strong and reliable, made of brass.
